History
Lim & Yeoh was founded on 1 October 1994.
From its inception, the Firm has placed a strong emphasis on property and property development activities, drawing upon the founders’ expertise in the field.
Over the years, the Firm has undertaken an extensive and, in many cases, unparallel breadth of assignments many of which are unique in nature. This has allowed us to accumulate a wealth of experience across the full spectrum of real estate and property-related legal matters.
As a testament to the Firm’s capabilities, Lim & Yeoh has till to date in the span of 30 years, undertaken in excess of 8,000 units of properties for direct property developer cases, and thousands of other categories of property transactions, together with the financing of the same. The Firm has participated in no less than 50 different property development projects, advised the revival of 4 abandoned housing schemes, undertaken numerous property development joint ventures, several corporate acquisitions, each exceeding RM100 million. The value of these transactions runs into many billions of ringgits.

Dato’ Bruce Lim, the original co-founder, continues to serve as the Firm’s Senior Managing Partner. He steers the Firm with a keen understanding of the proactivity and dynamism demanded by today’s fast-moving businesses and property sectors.
